TYPES OF POLLUTION
There are mainly four types of pollution:
1)Air Pollution
2)Water Pollution
3)Soil(Land)Pollution
4)Noise(Sound)Pollution
Air Pollution
Air pollution is caused by accumulation of dust around us, in our homes and streets, which are blown around,smoke coming out of the things burt in our homes, and petrol and diesel used in the vechicles, and disease germs spread in air due to accumulating filth. Air pollution result from gaseous emissions by burning of firewood, corpse residuces, dung, kerosene oil, coal, etc.
Water Pollution
Water pollution is a local regional and global environment problem. It is connected with air pollution and how we used the land. When air pollutants fall to the earth, they can become water pollutions. Fertilizers and pesticides we apply to croplands run off into nearby water. Increase in population has resulted in enormous increase in wastes, which, in turn, pollutes our valuable natural water sources and drinking water supply sources.
Soil Pollution
Soil pollution is caused by indiscriminate uses of fertilizer and pesticides. It is also caused by poisonous waste products coming out of factories which are mixed up with soil. Soil pollution leads to decrease in cro-production and quality of the soil.
Noise Pollution
Noise pollution is an unpleasant sound which cause discomfort.Unwanted sound produced from bus,motorbike,train,ship etc are known as sound pollution.
